Tables are now on sale for this year’s Yorkshire Property Charity Lunch and the organisers behind the event and the football match that precedes it, have announced that to mark its twentieth anniversary, this year’s luncheon will be held at the First Direct Arena.

The event will be held on Friday 13th September. The annual grudge match, which sees property professionals taking on property agents, will be played at The John Charles Centre for Sport in the morning, before the lunch in the afternoon, which will be attended by hundreds of Yorkshire’s property community. There will also be a guest speaker and charity auction.

In another new development this year, TheBusinessDesk.com has joined the event as its official media partner, and sponsors already signed up include Towngate, Walker Morris, Blacks, Wainwrights, Xenon, Glenbrook, Citipark, First Direct Arena and Ayre Event Solutions, with a limited number of sponsorship opportunities still available.

This year the money raised will benefit Teenage Cancer Trust and The Yorkshire Property Charitable Trust, which was set up in 2015 and has raised almost £500,000 to date for a huge range of local charities and good causes. Anyone working in the region’s property industry can apply for funding or suggest worthwhile causes for the charity’s trustees to consider.

Kat Hodgson, from Leeds property consultancy GV&Co, who is a trustee of The Yorkshire Property Charitable Trust, said: “This year’s Yorkshire Property Charity Lunch promises to be bigger and better than ever and we’re very excited to be hosting it at the First Direct Arena. Tables are already selling fast and any companies or individuals that haven’t yet secured one need to contact us now to avoid disappointment.

“We’re also delighted to welcome TheBusinessDesk.com on board as our media partner and it’s always humbling to see so many sponsors returning to support the event. For any other companies interested in sponsorship opportunities, we still have a couple of packages available that offer excellent exposure to Yorkshire’s property industry at very reasonable prices.”

Kat added: “Last year we enjoyed a record breaking year, raising more than £48,000 that has helped a vast range of worthwhile causes throughout the region, which epitomises the generosity of Yorkshire’s property industry, and we’re looking forward to building on this in September.

“Crucially the money raised makes a massive difference to local people in Yorkshire. We’ve recently supported all types of causes, from helping families who suddenly find themselves needing specialist equipment following lifechanging accidents, through to donating to local charities including the likes of Leeds Autism AIM, Martin House Children’s Hospice and Flourishing Families. Anyone working in the property industry can apply for funding from The Yorkshire Property Charitable Trust and we’re looking forward to helping many more worthy people and causes over the coming months.”

Tables of 10 at this year’s Yorkshire Property Charity Lunch, which starts at 12.30pm with a three course lunch served from 1.30pm, are priced at £1,250. There will also be a charity auction, raffle, guest speaker and entertainment. To find out more visit https://www.ypcf.org/.
