Acting on behalf of Trebor Developments and Hillwood, a significant pre-let has been agreed with Siemens Mobility who are taking a brand new 94,841 sq. ft distribution facility.
The site was originally sold by GV&Co and was branded Point 36 Goole by Trebor who secured detailed planning consent for the proposed unit, before entering into discussions with Siemens.
The unit is opposite Siemens state-of-the-art rail facility which finished construction earlier in 2023 and forms part of their £200m Rail Village.
GMI Construction has been appointed as main contractor and started on site in November, targeting practical completion in summer 2024.
Paul Mack, director at GV&Co said: “This is a fantastic result not only for the Goole area but also the wider East Riding.
“We are delighted to have been involved in yet another major transaction in Goole, having previously been involved in securing Tesco their 700,000 sq. ft distribution facility and Drax plc biomass facility.”
Greg Dalton, development director for Trebor, said: “We’re pleased to have agreed terms with a fantastic occupier at Point 36, our next project in Yorkshire, and to achieve another major milestone in appointing the main contractor.
“Siemens were an obvious customer for us, and we’ve worked with them to ensure the unit satisfies their operation needs as well as to ensure it can be delivered by next summer at their request. We look forward to delivering the scheme.”

Point 36 was jointly marketed by GV&Co and Holder & Co on behalf of Trebor and Hillwood. Colliers acted on behalf of Siemens.
